WARRANTIES
LELO
LELO products are of the highest quality and come with a 1-year worldwide manufacturing warranty. In countries mandating a longer warranty time, LELO extends the warranty appropriately.
This pleasure object is intended for adults only. LELO warrants this pleasure object for a period of ONE (1) YEAR, after the date of original purchase, against defects due to faulty workmanship or materials. If you discover a defect and notify LELO during the warranty period, LELO will, at its discretion, replace the pleasure object free of charge.
The warranty covers working parts that affect the function of the pleasure object. It does NOT cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear and tear or damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect. Any attempt to open or take apart the pleasure object (or its accessories) will void the warranty.
Claims under warranty must be supported by reasonable evidence that the date of the claim is within the warranty period. To validate your warranty, please keep your original purchase receipt together with these warranty conditions for the duration of the warranty period.
Pleasure objects under warranty claim must be returned (together with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number) to LELO carriage paid. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
This undertaking is in addition to a consumer's statutory rights and does not affect those rights in any way. GOLDFRAU DILDO
The Goldfrau dildo comes with a one year manufactures guarantee.
Goldfrau warrants to the consumer that its products are of reasonable quality. The information contained herein and above is designed only for use of the Goldfrau dildo. To the extent permitted by the Trade Practices Act 1974 and the Fair Trading Act 1999 Goldfrau or any of its affiliates its servants or agents shall not be liable to a purchaser of this product or to any third party or any other person who uses this product in any manner for any damages losses costs or expenses of any nature (whensoever or wheresoever such or the same may occur or arise) as a result of accident misuse or abuse of this product or any unauthorised modifications additions attachments repairs or any alterations to this product. Goldfrau shall not at any time be liable for any damages or problems or personal injuries arising from the use of any of its products. No other term whether implied at common law or otherwise shall apply with respect to any use or purchase of a Goldfrau by any person. If you experience any problems with your Goldfrau Dildo, have any questions regarding its operation or believe you are eligible for a warranty claim, please contact customercare@miamuse.com.au
CANDLES
All our candles are handmade locally, if the is a fault in your product that is not caused by misuse or product neglect, feel free to contact us at customercare@miamuse.com.au, you must supply us with a copy of your receipt and we will replace your candle. There will be no refunds on purchases.
SAFETY & RELIABILITY (LELO, Goldfrau and MIA MUSE product safety)
LELO
The LELO product quality is characterised by the honest use of materials and craftsmanship in assembly and finish. Raw materials and components are of the highest order, tested to be non-toxic and phtalate-free and to comply with CE and RoHs standards. LELO products use the highest grade medical silicon, which is a nice alternative to harsh plastics that can deteriorate after too much use.
LELO products can be washed with warm water, and towel dried thoroughly. Do not place the recharging end of your product under water.
GOLDFRAU
Australian design and manufactured the Goldfrau dildos are made in Australia to the highest manufacturing standards using a local manufacturer. Goldfrau and MIA MUSE are proud to support Australian industry and we believe we can give our customer a superior product due to high Australian standards and a close working relationship with our manufacturer.
Goldfrau dildos are made of stoneware ceramic. They have a three to four millimetre wall thickness and are fully vitrified (they cannot absorb liquid). The ceramic and glaze have been selected for strength, durability and natural viscosity.
Product testing for Goldfrau
The Goldfrau dildo has been tested by an independent engineering company, who specialize in testing industrial ceramics to assess the product’s material strength. The results indicate that Goldfrau dildos will never break under normal usage, i.e., vaginal penetration.
All products are checked at several stages of the manufacturing and packaging process to ensure a high standard of safety and quality.
As no Australian standards exist for the product design area of sex toys (something we hope will eventually change) Goldfrau have paid particular attention to compliance with the Australian Trade Practices Act to bring you hygienic and safe products and guidelines.
Do not apply any extreme temperatures to your Goldfrau dildo. To warm your dildo, we suggest brief immersion for 2 – or 3 seconds under a hot water tap or in hot water. To cool your dildo, we suggest that you put it in the refrigerator. Either way we recommend you only moderately heat or cool it. By moderate we mean, if you can hold the temperature affected area comfortably in your hand for longer than 5 seconds.
ENVIRONMENTAL
At MIA MUSE one of our main concerns was trading and practicing business in the best way possible this includes reducing the carbon footprint. Our MIA MUSE candles are made from all natural products by some of our favourite local candle-makers we know they do things right. It is also important that our wholesalers do things right as well, here is what both LELO and Goldfrau have to say.
LELO
All of our products are created in-house, enabling us to optimise our designs from concept through launch. Our efforts don’t stop there – we constantly refine each product to maximize lifespan and minimize environmental footprint. Good products don’t end up as landfill.
To ensure that our manufacturing partners share our values, LELO maintains a strict vendor qualification process. As a condition of conducting business with us, our vendors must comply with a Vendor Code of Conduct which outlines fair labour practices, worker health and safety requirements and environmental accountability practices. LELO does not conduct animal testing.
LELO meets or exceeds US and European Union energy standards. LELO products are compliant with California Energy Commission Appliance Efficiency Regulations as well as California Proposition 65.
LELO products are WEEE-compliant (meeting collection, recycling and recovery targets for all types of electrical goods).
Goldfrau
The two major components- the ceramic dildo and leather wrap have been designed for durability and longevity.
· The leather wraps are made from either certified leather that contains no heavy metals in the tanning process, vegetable tanned leather or leather off cuts from the fashion industry, which would normally be considered waste.
· Any other packaging is recyclable or biodegradable- we are also mindful to keep packaging to a minimum.
· We attempt to use local manufacturers and providers whenever possible so materials and components are not traversing the globe back and forth.
· Goldfrau- the consultancy uses only green power (renewable energy) and subscribes to Greenfleet (www.greenfleet.com.au) who plant trees to help neutralise our carbon emissions.
· We are constantly thinking of ways to improve our environmental performance.
